UE4 course and Blender course

More than one year ago I backed Ben Tristem’s Unreal Engine 4 C++ course on kickstarter. The course started already last March and I started to follow it but now I haven’t been following the course for long time but recently decided to catch up on the lectures that still keeps on being made and published in Udemy.  So far I have progressed to third section that is about making a third person tank battle game. First two sections were c++ console word guessing game and a simple room escape game in UE4. After the Tank game section the course will still have at least one section about building a FPS game. That section is still being published but soon finished.

Because I backed some 25 euros (might have been 25£ can’t remember) in kickstarter I also received a Blender course in Udemy that I have been now studying. I am only at beginning in that course but already now some basics in Blender. The section I am currently is about making a bowling pin. I also decided to use the UE4 skills I am learning in UE4 course and make a simple bowling game with the assets I am creating in Blender course.

I will post updates on my progress to this blog about this course and other game and graphics projects. I am also trying to finish graphics programming projects that I will write about later. My main interest is still in learning and doing graphics programming and rendering but also learning gameplay programming is my goal.
